Responsibilities :
- Act as RO approved by the SFC for Type 1, regulated activities;
- Oversee, manage, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, including the SFC's Code of Conduct and relevant guidelines;
- Formulate and review internal procedures to enhance business productivity and effectiveness;
- To assist in communicating with regulatory bodies;
- Handle any ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements :
- Must be a current holder of SFC Type 1, with both unconditional RO status and eligibility to act as a Responsible Officer (RO) for Type 1 regulated activities;
- Degree or above in business related disciplines;
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of SFC’s regulations and guidelines;
- Be detail-oriented and highly analytical, with a proactive approach to problem-solving;
- Interact effectively with all levels of staff and external parties;
- Fluency in English and (Cantonese or Mandarin) is required;
- Knowledge in Virtual Asset is an advantage.
- Passed CVAP is an advantage
