Membership Admission & Renewal

1. Employees engaged in securities, futures, asset management, and virtual assets-related work at companies licensed by the Securities and Futures Commission or the Monetary Authority can apply for membership.
2. Employees willing to comply with the following conditions can become members:
   1. Support the association's principles and comply with its regulations.
   2. Complete the membership application form and pay the membership fee and annual dues. Upon approval by the Board of Directors, the applicant becomes a member. If any personal information provided is incomplete, inaccurate, or inconsistent with the facts, the Board of Directors may revoke the membership eligibility.
3. New members must pay a membership fee of HK$150 and an annual fee of HK$100 (totaling HK$250). Subsequently, an annual fee of HK$100 is due within the month of the membership anniversary each year.

Explanation of Late Membership Renewal Fees and Membership Term Calculations

The following describes two payment options and the rules for calculating the membership term for late renewals:

1. Annual fee only
   - Payment amount: $100 (annual fee)
   - Membership term calculation: The membership term will be recalculated starting from the date the membership became overdue and renewed through the same date in the following year.
   - Example: If a member’s membership became overdue in July 2024 and they pay the $100 annual fee in September 2024, the membership term will be reinstated from July 2024 (the overdue date) through July 2025.
   
2. Admission fee plus annual fee
   - Payment amount: $150 (admission fee) + $100 (annual fee)
   - Membership term calculation: The membership term will be recalculated starting from the payment date and renewed through the same date in the following year (based on the annual fee paid).
   - Example: If a member’s membership became overdue in July 2023 and they choose to pay the $150 admission fee and $100 annual fee in July 2025, the membership term will be recalculated from July 2025 (the payment date) and renewed for one year through July 2026.

The association has been recognized by the Academic Accreditation Advisory Committee of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) as an institution providing continuous training
