The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Professionals Association extends its sincere congratulations and support to Ms. Julia Leung on her reappointment as Chief Executive Officer of the Securities and Futures Commission. This reappointment not only recognizes Ms. Leung’s exceptional capabilities but also brings stability and confidence to the continued development of Hong Kong’s financial markets.

During her previous term, Ms. Leung demonstrated professional and efficient leadership, driving a number of important market reforms and actively promoting connectivity between the Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong capital markets, as well as expanding international cooperation, substantially enhancing Hong Kong’s competitiveness as an international financial center. At the same time, her initiatives in emerging areas such as asset management, fixed income, and digital assets have injected new momentum into the industry.
