Official Statement on the Recent Impersonation of HKSFPA's Forex Traders and Analysts

We wish to address a serious issue that has come to our attention regarding individuals impersonating our association on LinkedIn, falsely presenting themselves as forex traders and analysts associated with us. This misleading behavior poses a risk of public confusion, and we are deeply concerned about its implications. We want to make it explicitly clear that these impersonators have no affiliation with HKSFPA. In order to protect the public from potential deception or illegal activities, we have reported these cases to the appropriate platforms and reserve all legal rights to pursue further action.
As a trade union representing financial service professionals in Hong Kong, HKSFPA comprises grassroots members from the securities industry who dedicate their time and efforts to advocate for and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of industry practitioners. Accordingly, we do not engage in any commercial activities and have no commercial roles or identities. Any individual or entity claiming to represent our association as a trader is making a fraudulent assertion.
